Texas Watch Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting or joining Texas Watch.  Your privacy is important to us.  It is our explicit policy to protect the privacy of our grassroots and financial supporters.  We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose our supporters’ names, addresses, contact information, places of employment, professions, or other identifying information.  Any information we collect or use to identify our audience is not distributed or shared with any organization or individual.

Since we are not a political action committee, contributions to Texas Watch/Texas Watch Foundation are not disclosed to either the Texas Ethics Commission or the Federal Elections Commission.  As a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization, Texas Watch is required to file routine IRS filings; however, the names and addresses of contributors are not open to public inspection.

Only those supporters who choose to engage in public advocacy will be identified as being a part of Texas Watch.  The privacy of supporters who choose not to engage in public advocacy will be respected by Texas Watch.
